PS, I also chucked on an OL swing-away tyre carrier the other day. Nice to have lots of room in the back now.

Nice one Squire! Any picks of the tire carrier?

I bought a "cheap" one from 4x4Point (~1200) and after a year and a half the powder coat is already starting to fade badly, and surface rust appearing. Plus mods were required to have it stop rattling.

And it flexes a fair bit with a 31 inch tyre when open, apparently its rated to a 33 from memory I think... and it was responsible for busting my RH rear tail light because there is no "stopper" welded in place. Get what you pay for i guess.

Did you find the grease able ones?

Mine on the drives side come off easy as the where we'll lubricated.
I think mines going to start rusting now if I keep fixing the oil leaks haha
I haven't looked really since starting to fix the other XJ with the stuffed head.

After that's fixed I will be onto my steering.

Got it from eBay. A seller by the name of pammy3173.
Cheap as chips. Got 5 & 1/2 metres for under $50. Delivered.
And it matches the stuff I bought years ago from lincraft in Grafton. I was chuffed with that.[emoji41]
