I went for a drive today. I seem to have some issues with the Auto not shifting. I suspect it may have something to do with my lack of experience in Autos, but I am willing to learn.. I may have to remove it and rebuild it or get another one. Dime a dozen and the rebuild kits are quite cheap compared to Jeep parts... Tossing up whether to do it myself or send it to the big smoke 1600 k's away.. Was nice to drive though.. Got to put some holes in that muffler..

when we did ours the 2nd gear band got pushed out of position (simple to do without knowing it). had the tranny shop sort it and do some tweaks while it was there but they simply pulled the pan and valve body off and were able to get it back in position. if i remember correctly it also caused us to lose 4th gear as well

im pretty sure looking at the photos your jeep doesnt have abs correct?

now the ls1 is sitting in there nicely...is there room for the abs unit in the engine bay ?(unsure if you know how big or were the stock one is located yet thought id ask anyway)

The ABS pump is located on the passenger side of the engine bay between the airbox and the heater fan, it is just visible in the pic on page 7 with the bonnet up and no grille attached...
