the more I play with my transmission the more I'm thinking that the temp should be removed at the pan, The flow is 3 litres a minute through the cooler. misting the cooler will not cope with a transmission at operating temp and then a spike due to a high stall or high converter slip.
I have started modifing my pan. I will be extending about 50mm with a stronger base plate so as to act as a bash plate, The plan is to put 20 12mm tubes thought the extension so as to increase surface area by about double and then push air through with a small thermo. The idea is to get away from tubes and plumbing and stuff. Protect the pan, add some oil and cool it were it sits.
This plan could falter at any point so I'll be playing it bit by bit.
