I'll be the first to admit that I have never been good at haggling. How do you "screw the dealer" to get a better price ? There is a big difference between $55,000 and $49,500.
just dont trade a car in on the deal to start with, that always puts you behind the 8 ball.
also haggling, well get them to give you the price, then when they give it to you, ask if they can do better, when they say no, tell them to go and talk to manager and get a better deal, you are keen and will buy today or go elsewhere and be standing so its obvious you will be ready to leave.
Well after five months of waiting my wife and I finally walked in to our local dealership and ordered a Jeep Cherokee Limited. Had a test drive and must say it is worlds different to my old 1996 Cherokee Classic box. Really nice interior and very smooth to drive. Steering has improved 100% over my old Jeep.
I was expecting $50,190 list price but apparently during May/June they are having a sale and the Ltd is $46,990 list price. It was a pleasant surprise.
Ordered a black Jeep with tinted windows. Should be a good mafia car. ;)
