After spraying it Apple Red, I fitted a Blackjack Welding skid plate. Not sure how long it's going to remain that shiny though.

I soaked it with an excessive amount for an hour. Stuck bad.

I just bought 2 new uni joints Moog 371. They will take a couple of weeks to arrive. Again from Amazon for a great price. What's everyone's experience with Moog quality?

Going to drain diff and remove both axles next weekend. Then I can fit new wheel hub and not risk the old one collapsing.

Going to possibly attempt to cut old hub off axle with a 9 inch grinder. It won't be pretty but if it's clamped down well I should be safe. Even if I don't cut all the way through I should massively reduce the amount of pressure required to press it off. I have access to a 20 ton press most of the time.

Don't know about Jeep hubs specifically, but MOOG have been making OEM quality suspension/steering parts for as long as I can recall. Never heard of a problem with them.

I'd be lining her up against a garage door, and checking that.

Thanks, Dimo.
Something like this below. A flat projection to the right of the centre of the beam, and a kick up to the left. That or a completely flat projection, so glare/beam is not directed to oncoming traffic.
