I'm admiring how clean and good your axle and leaf springs look. I was under my camper trailer yesterday tidying up some wiring and it looks nothing like that!

It now gives me the motivation to remove mine to clean them up and give them a respray.

The spacers took up the extra offset of the JK wheels perfectly, and also spaced the wheel away from the hub bearings which would otherwise stop you from using JK wheels (or make you machine out the JK wheels and thereby making them useless on the Jeep).
I wouldn't use spacers on anything with a lot of weight in it, but this is a small box trailer that'll only be carrying a bit of camping gear.....can't see it'll be a problem.

Thanks for the info, now it's back to the shed for me!

Hey Leigh, ive actually been thinking of machining a set to fit a trailer, why does that make then unusable on the jeep if needed?

Most wheels have been hub-centric for years...the load is through the centre bored hole to the hub, the nuts/studs just secure the wheel.
Bore the Moab alloys out to suit the larger Ford hubs, and they are now no longer hub-centric for the Jeep.....all the load would then be on the studs.
Besides, the offset is so big on the JK wheels, if I didn't have the spacer/adapters, then I'd have to have bought a new wider axle - the tyres would have hit the trailer sides before they even got bolted up.
