Default Chief vs uneek bash plates

Hi gcers!

Tossing up between the uneek bashplate and the heavy duty chief one.

About the same price, the chief is 5mm and the uneek is 3mm...which would you guys get?

I have the Chief one and its a quality item. I think money well spent. Sorry haven't seen the Uneek one.

you have to remember the Uneek is on M10 mounting bolts which is so much stronger then the m6s holding the chief on. I also prefer the look of the Uneek.

if you read it the Uneek requires drilling upgrading the 6mm bolt holes (prob 8mm) from the manufacturer intended for the plastic basherplate to a 10mm bolt hole (prob 12mm hole).

"Competitors use existing bolts for a complete bolt on product however the existing bolts are only tiny M6 designed to hold on the factory plastic cover, not take a hit from a rock or rut that your car has slid on to. Uneek 4x4 recognize this and therefore as the customer to drill 3 holes in order to use High tensile M10 bolts"
