my (large) Torx bit set have a 12mm hex.. knocked the T60 bit out of its 1/2" adaptor

tape 2 x 12mm spanner side-by-side, slip the 2 box ends over T60

estimate it took over 150ftlb to undo with the pipe over spanners

appeared to be factory o-ring with blue loctite

it would seem 2 x 12mm supercheaps are stronger than one 10mm sidchrome

Crack that nut when the engine is warm. The factory locktite will be softer.

Today I took the fan clutch off. Next is removal of the HB and install of a new one I'm ordering from the US. Does anyone ever organise a joint parts purchase from RockAuto or other US company so that we can all save money on freight?

"Rock Auto" can be weird ass for shipping. Sometimes more freight for 4 pieces than 6. Add local postage and its all over. Better to simply make your own list and try to match your parts from their same warehouse. Look for the red truck on the right when you are shopping.
