Default $3 favor

Hi Guys

A mate of mine was wounded in Afghanistan and lost both legs above the knee and might still lose an arm. (IED)
His name is Scott and he is an SF Warrant officer.

If you happen to be at a place that sells post cards and happen to have $3 you could spare, Could you send him a post card and say Gday.

His morale is pretty low and its been real tough on his family.

The address is Walter Reed Army Hospital
6900 Georgia Ave,NW
Ward 57 attn: Scott Schroeder
Washington DC 20307 USA

Thanks for helping out. It will be a big boost to his spirits if he gets a few.
Please don't say anything cruel.

Thanks again Tom

Tom, I read this this morning before racing out of the office to the usual day. Man i feel for Scott and his family. His recovery and initial rehab days would be sole destroying. I was a choco for quite a number of years. My older brother remains in the army and this is the last thing people want to talk about as it is always easier to change topic and focus on postive things in life. Hope this is not Scott's experience. I really hope he is looked after by the military and those around him. I've made a note of his details and will send a card his way this weekend. Hope he keeps his arm but more importantly his spirit and mental health. I wish him all the best. Nice to know he has a mate like you.

Come on guys! Surely there's some Vets out there that wouldn't mind doing this.
Remember mail call when nothing showed up, how lonely it felt!

To those that are doing this without a reply here, I thank you!
