This sounds like a great plan!

Power window regulator assembly revision #3. The previous fix held up for a good few months, but failed as well. This attempt is given me a hard time, seem not to be able the get the wire attached to the bracket in a way it will slide back in. All to prevent that I end up having to buy a whole new assembly just because a cheap ass little piece of plastic has broken off...

Replaced front hub assembly's and water pump

Put in a new stereo and speakers

Now just have to get my snorkel and new bumpstops in and she will be ready for cruiser park on the weekend.

It will be the first real trip in the xj can't wait to see how she goes

There is a upgrade repair kit available that solves the issue. Hopefully someone has a link or Google the prob and you might find the kit.

Regards A

Hay Clint,

Can you post a pic of the snorkel install, I'm keen to see how to cut the pannel before the snorkel goes on.

Have fun at landcruiser park!

Thanks,

New tyres on the weekend, was looking at getting the Maxxis Bravo AT 771 but the guy at the tyre shop sold me on some Falken Wildpeak ATs. Four of them in 235/70/R16 fitted balanced and aligned for $830, not too bad. They grip like crazy in the wet, rear end sticks like glue.
