Hey Marko, there looks like there is only a couple of inches clearance from the damper mount to the trackbar bracket. Is there enough clearance for the axle to go to hard bump stop or does it need bump stop extensions?

Broke the axle just inside the locker, made a mess. Twisted the shaft so badly that is literally looked like a javelin tip, no splines where left attached to the shaft at all. R&P from memory was okay, had to replace part of the locker internals, can't remember which bit; this was 3 years ago.

Tis what one get for driving on a stock Dane 30 with 35" Creepy's.

Replaced the diff with a HP D30 out of an XJ (thanks to Ian) then trussed it up with a TNT truss (from Wooder's) to remove any flex as I think the diff flexing may have been the culprit that caused the original to bind up?
Still running stack inners but Alloy Axle seals, at least spares are easy to find (theirs a bit of a build thread about it on here somewhere)

Plus I have never been to big a fan of the Super 30 upgrade due to cost, i.e. 30 spline cromo axles, if the stocker's break (one day) I will go cromo but stay 27 spline, purely due to the availability of spare axles. Surely 3 additional splines can't make 'that' much difference, in my way of thinking its the cromo that makes the difference, could be very wrong though? time will tell.

Hijack over -

Thanx mate for the warning - I am thinking of going back to 35's mtz's but my front is totally stock (D30- im not sure spending any money to strengthen it is a worthwhile idea? any thoughts?) and I don't want to pretzel anything - maybe I should just stay on 33's?? - my 33mtz's are almost as bald as your profile pic lol so I need to bite the bullet soon! cheers Hunty
