Default J series aftermarket side mirrors

I've been looking for some side mirrors to go on my old J series ute and wondered what other people here were using? I was thinking early Bronco maybe? It currently has little round aftermarket ones but after something a little bigger without having to mount truck type to the doors.

Do they stick out far enough or are you just looking at the front of the tray?

I've got a set of the Truck Style mirrors in my garage which I was looking to fit, but the more I consider them the more I'd rather something that doesn't obscure the side vision whilst being large enough to be good towing mirrors.
On a US FSJ forum I saw that 90-2000 Targo mirrors bolt straight into the existing holes and was considering those, but I don't dislike the scale of those Patrol mirros - how are working out for you?

The side mirrors that were on the Jeep were something like old late 70's Holden or Valiant? So unless I adjusted them I would only see either behind or where the wheels were, I wanted something that gave me a little better field of vision without putting truck style (tripod) ones on. The bloody thing is wide enough and I don't want to be smashing them off up bush tracks.
Yes I also saw the Tarago ones used but the prices were to high I thought, also looked at Bronco mirrors which were expensive too.
I held these Patrol mirrors on and was happy with the view compared to what it had; after the restoration they'll be permanently mounted.
I'm still collecting new and used parts which is taking time, it will be a long term restoration I think.
