Smile Damper relocation bracket

I have a bracket I bought off Billy DBoR - very well engineered and beautifully made!

It flips the damper from below to above & gets it out of trail harms way

I am running a fat @ss damper!

cheers Hunty

Not knowing jack about JK's (I like it that way), but are you able to do something similar to the standard TJ damper relocation using 'U' brackets as per mine below, can get a better pic if desired but their should be plenty on the net, skyjacker also do this as a relocation kit....
I only ask as based on the pics i have seen the JK Damper appears to be located/set up in the same manner as a TJ's - Don't crucify me if wrong as stated, I know jack about JK's.

This is where it is now.

This where it used to be, was here for about 8 years and didn't cop that much of a flogging, just a few minor dents, still running the same damper now!

Broke my diff about here........

Thanx Fatchilli
Ill dig out my old TJ parts box and try my old tj relocation bracket - took your advise and found a heap of stuff on the net! for the TJ.
I found another JK bracket,
grabbed a screen shot and flipped it in photoshop so it looks right hand drive
any thoughts? anybody?
cheers Hunty

Looks like it would work. Though would need extended bumpstops so it clears the chassis, not ideal for a stocker but should be OK on yours.

I believe DBOR are working on one (not sure if I should mention it or not) and should have something in a couple of weeks. I think the challenge is going to be finding a location that wont foul on the draglink or trackbar or hit the chassis on both lifted and stock vehicles.

Just looking at the possibility of mounting on the RHS of the diff (I guess like the solid one?) and I dont think it would clear the top track bar mount without at least 2 in bump stop extensions.
