has anyone ever put chalk on the tyres and done it the old-fashioned way I was thinking about doing this when I get my tyres
Never done that as such but I've done the opposite. Come back home (so the tyres are clean from driving on the road and are up to full "hot" road pressures) and driven into the dusty garage (perhaps I should sweep up more often!) and then taken note of which sections of the tyre the dust has stuck to.

Lol, if the better half ever complains about the dust mate just tell her it's diagnostic dust and not regular dust. Much cleaner and important for smooth jeep operation
