has anyone ever put chalk on the tyres and done it the old-fashioned way I was thinking about doing this when I get my tyres

Never done that as such but I've done the opposite. Come back home (so the tyres are clean from driving on the road and are up to full "hot" road pressures) and driven into the dusty garage (perhaps I should sweep up more often!) and then taken note of which sections of the tyre the dust has stuck to.

Lol, if the better half ever complains about the dust mate just tell her it's diagnostic dust and not regular dust. Much cleaner and important for smooth jeep operation

Yes and Yes.
Got them earlier in the year when the our dollar was stronger. Airfreight via FedEx at the time was $600US for 5 tyres.

Just got some BFG's 285/70/17's on last week what an improvement!

Looking to get the ARB 2" lift fitted the next few weeks. ($1800)

Anyone with good reviews of the lift?

I can't justify going the AEV 2.5" at $2500.

Most don't like the ARB lift.. the AEV is only like $1200 or something.. where did you get the $2500 figure from ??
