Does anyone here have the aev 2.5 inch lift with fox remote shocks? I'm looking for a review. I was told the Bilstein that comes with the aev kit is tuned and would perform better than the fox remotes.

I think that most people who purchase the AEV lift purchase the entire kit, unlike other lifts, or in many cases some vendors such as PPM and Teraflex partner with Fox, so it may be difficult to get a review here.
Also what do mean by perform, are you looking for comfort, high speed dirt rd etc. some shocks that may offer the best possible performance may not offer the same levels of comfort as others, and vise versa.

I just want the best ride possible as it's a daily. I want it smooth and less body roll.

Apparently I wont be doing any sort of driving that would require reservoir shocks. In this case I'll just stick to the AEV 2.5 kit. Thanks for the help guys

Many people believe that the Bilsteins are a very firm shock, and by their nature, monotube digressive shocks are probably a firmer shock. But many people luv them. I have both Bilsteins 5160 and OME Sports which I swap over every six months. There is a big difference, especially around town. Best bet is to go for a drive in a JK with the suspension set up you are looking for, could be the best 20 mins investment.
