Nah no drag link flip. Handling seems fine even without the wheel alignment done yet. Is it necessary? I will probably do it soon anyway.

Will let you know mate. I've seen them in action on Phil's beast and was very impressed so that's why I bought them.

Yep it most certainly is. Without it thw drag link and track bar are no longer acting in sync with each other and as the suspension compresses the required length of the drag link to keep the steering wheel in the same position changes.

In other words if you keep the steering wheel in the same position as you go over bumps the wheels will turn - called bump steer.

As for wheel alignment the only thing that changes is the steering wheel centre and the caster.

New wheels and tyres fitted this morning. Love the look! Tyres are 285/70x17s and currently factory stock suspension.

The end result is that the tread of the Mud Hogs is all inside the fender, but the "bulge" of the sidewall sits outside by 25mm. I'll deal with that another time.




The angle of this makes it look like its sitting really low at the front, but its on an angled driveway and that will all be sorted with the lift next week anyway.
