It is interesting to read other people's thoughts on the topic. I used to think that if I didn't have a Jeep, I'd drive Ford Bronco or Toyota 4Runner. And I still find these cars to be reliable alternatives, but I've recently addressed this Nissan motor acceptance corporation to check Tucson for my wife. I should say, I was pleasantly surprised. Who knows, maybe one day I'd buy it for myself.

I had a 4Runner, that's why I now drive Jeeps. It was the slowest and the most unreliable 4WD I'd ever owned. I sold it after only owning it for about 8 months, and 6 months of that ownership, I was in Kuwait during the 1st Gulf War.

It was my poor wife at home that had to put up with it and it's numerous issues. It was when the rear diff let go on her on Parramatta Rd in the middle of morning peak hour traffic that we decided enough was enough.

I bought my WG 2.7 CRD because I wanted something reasonably economical, comfortable as a daily driver but also capable offroad. It ticked both boxes. If it was not the Jeep WG, it would have been a Td5 Disco 2.

Probably like a ford/toyota similar to my current Wrangler. I just like the aesthetics way too much.
