Default Reverse Camera stop working

Last weekend, gravel roads, soft off-roading, I have scraped skid plates on typical rocks during shallow creek crossing, nothing unuasual, all seems to be normal except reverse camera stopped engaging video feed, there is a message "Check soroundings". Have I displaced something near transmission, connector ?? when gear shifter is placed in reverse “R”. Where to look, coincidence? unlikely, it must be something I have mechanically dislodged on rocks, Sometimes there is video feed, another time it fails to connect when in "R", never had any issues before, creek crossing ?? (also not my first crossing, any water ingress eg in connector should be already dried out, after three -four days)
I would be appreciate any suggestion (GC 2012, Limited)

Been a long time using a 5 speed so dim memories................... But seem to recall all gearbox wiring was contained in a main harness plug at front RH side of box.....

Are the reverse lights working ???

Old memories but I think the reverse lights are activated by the shifter/TCM telling the BCM to turn things on.....................

If the lights work then the cam module which is under the LH side bin in back in mine may have pulled a wire ............

Thanks for a tip, reverse lights are working, few bolts on skid plates have been stretched/pushed, through checks, replacing front skid plate bolts, inspecting for damages and reverse camera have fixed itself, for now.
Maybe there was a minimal tension between sensor and slot, I am pretty sure it will came back, for now I will hold on dismantling centre console

At the same time GC was lifted on hoist by local mechanic, I asked him to replace transmission fluid (due for replacement), after little “love and care” reverse camera fault is not staring in my face with black screen, (for now)

Pretty sure if reverse lights working then it will be nothing to do with reverse switch but further along the system....
