The theory is good and should work.
However IMO, putiing a 25mm hole through the dpf with no regen, will end up with a blocked filter. Effectively making a 25mm restrictor in the exhaust system.
IMO much better to replace the dpf, with a straight through pipe, when installing the resistor.
The resistor, is in effect the same as the emulator posted in an earlier thread.

Wow, 400,000km on the commander is good to hear. Mine is coming upto 200,000km and my wife and I were wondering if we should start to get rid of it before expensive problems start. I guess she has a bit more life in her yet.
