Hey I counted down about a year before the 2002 Jambo (such was my excitment )......

Besides I didn't think we were ramping it up enough yet
When's the convoy coming through
Are we making some scenic stops along the way
How much time off work are we all booking
What mods are we going to try & rush through before the event
Who's registered (mine's in )
News from the Jambo organisers
Pre-jambo trips
Who's taking the car trailers to bring home our broken Jeeps

One of the guys here was told that people wouldn't be allowed to camp on sight before Friday which would affect convoy planning if it is true (organisers?). If this isn't an issue, I would think that we would plan to arrive on Thurs' arvo and maybe allow 2 days min to get there from Sydney (via Canberra). Have the camper trailer but not keen on towing it all the way to Jambo without re-gearing again which is unlikely. Not so much mods as maintenance I think 'bling' is going to be very important at this jambo though (what colour goes well with black??).

Yep, I'm registered!

Well a set of 4.56 ratios just landed in my office yesterday ...so they're definitely going in...just trying to sort of which lockers (and how the heck I'm going to pay for it!)

I'll probably leave on Wednesday afternoon/evening and get to the camping ground on Thursday evening sometime. Yep, registered, nup, no more mods before then except maybe some driving lights.

I'm planning on Thursday and Friday off and the following Tuesday and possibly Wednesday as well. I guess I should find out exactly where it is first though

Cheers
Steve
