Default 2013 GC CRD PCM Diagram

Hi,

I am trying to solve the riddle of the cruise (not adaptive) control not turning on. The dealer first said it was a brake switch and after replacement, they say it's a cruise control switch. I removed it and tested it and as per Mopar guidelines it tests out fine. plus the PCM registers that the correct buttons are pressed.

To solve this I think I need PCM pinouts to see if both brake switch signals are making it there. I would appreciate any help in that regard.

Thanks.

Having removed it how did you test it? Did you check that the switch contacts are actually connecting when pressed together?

Yes removed it and tested resistances and used scan tool to see if all modules recognize buttons

Did you clean the switch contacts i.e. by peeling back the protective film and cleaning both contacts with alcohol or similar? Even if each contact is 'live' on testing, the switch still won't work when pressed if there is contamination between them. That dirt is usually invisible.

I posted on this a few days ago as I had the same problem which was cured by cleaning the contacts. It may not turn out to be the problem in your case, but be sure to clean those contacts regardless, as this is a common problem with the WK2.
