Default Air compressor in TJ centre console

Hey everyone,

I'm wanting everyone's suggestions/opinions on where to mount my ARB air compressor. (the one that does lockers and tyres) I've done a front and rear high fender lift and run a snorkel so I don't have any space under my bonnet for the compressor. My boyfriend has suggested I mount the compressor in the centre console with the connection point for the tyre inflation hose at the back of the console for ease of access.
I run a tonneau cover across the back and half top up front, spare tyre where the passenger seat normally is so don't really want to mount the compressor in the back I case it gets damaged and because it'd make it a PITA to air up cos I'd have to take the tonneau off etc.

So, can anyone think of any reasons why mounting the compressor in the centre console would be a bad idea? (other than the noise aspect)

Or, can anyone think of anywhere else it could be mounted? (don't particularly like the idea of having it under the seats 'cos I don't have the bungholes or carpet in)
Jees I've made it difficult.. Lol

In the back in a vented box. Then run an air line to the front or back of the Jeep. No need to lift the cover then.
