Default vibes

Hey Hamish

Cause I lost interest in the vibes a while ago I forgot that I was considering removing the rear shaft to try it ( hasn't helped that I haven't had a front shaft in for about 4 months)

Anyway front shaft is back in as of 2 weeks ago so I will try to remove rear shaft and see if vibes go.

Like I said I reckon mine as a fair amount of slop yoke to splines so see how it goes.

Let you know shortly.

check Youtube on Death wobble..a guy does this and in slo-mo, its crystal clear the problem!

just a few $ for an iphone cam

Is your vehicle lifted at all?

just to be clear, mount the cam, drive around, review later in slo-mo..not look at iphone while driving

Will have to give it a go. I'm not a miracle worker but a camera can be...

Just had a quick squizz at some Youtubes on Jeep Death wobble..fk theres a lot!

couldnt find it again...would be well worth viewing, VERY convincing diagnosis

he focuses on the upper Trackbar mount.

ONLY under slo-mo, you can see it is vibrating..maybe he is using a go-pro cam

would then try each suspect area, trackbar lower, driveshaft ends etc

I have an 6mm "Inspection camera" that look inside bores etc, would probably work

Default vibe

Hey Hamish removed rear drive shaft Saturday but only got a quick drive in before I had to re fit it.

Seat of the pants I believe it improved the vibration at approx, 40km/h but I have a little bit of vibration still from else where so really hard to call it sorry mate. Not much help.

No worries mate! Appreciate it a heap. I'm feeling it may be the front unis or something on mine... Very confused at the moment. Have a new trackbar coming soon as well but will see soon!
