On my 2011 with QL I changed the standard 20” rims to 18” and bought a set of Bridgestone KO2s, which gave me approx 2” lift. 275/65R18 - zero rubbing even on lowered Park height. The only complaint is they whine between 40 and 50km/h on the sealed road. The spare fitted in the well with the container thingies in place, however the spare makes the cover stick up a bit. I will eventually get some small pieces of Ply to make the cover sit even.

No rubbing? Is that because of your wheel offset? Are they different to standard?

If anyone is after that Bridgestone DUELER H/T 840 255/70r18 spare of mine (never been on the road) for a spare replacement the same diameter as the 275/65r18 / 275/55r18 and can pickup from Sydney (hills district) let me know, it's going in the bin this week.

Happy for someone else to get some out of it.

Can take for free / i'll leave it out the front.

Ahem. BF Goodrich not Bridgestone, I hadn't drunk that much when I posted!

I ordered 18" mags from a Bob Jane place, along with the bigger wheels. They put them on and they fit like magic. I don't know about any offset or anything, I just ordered them to fit a JGC.

And even on the Park height with my QL suspension there is no rubbing, even on full lock. I was a bit nervous as I'd only read in the forums that 275/65R18 was the max size for my 2011 JGC Overland QL, so it all worked out.

Using my calculator the 275 is 13mm wider in dia and circumference is 40mm more...... if you fill in the boxes on this magic calculator it will tell you what will and what won't, save relying on hearsay.........
