Default rattle type noise when accelerating

Hi all, My 2008 jk diesel auto has suddenly started to make a rattle when accelerating. It seems to be around 2500 rpm goes away as soon as you stop accelerating and go into cruise etc. Hard to describe its a brrrrrr type of noise.
Just replaced injectors car drive like a dream.I do not think its from the motor, any Ideas anyone.

How many miles / Km's on your 2008 JK ?

10020 kays The sound is only there when driving,Started on Friday coming back from Cairns cannot hear anything in motor when stopped. I have checked the idler pulleys and tensioner they quite new replaced all belts tensioners water pump at 80 thousand .Change oil every 5000. Car does not get hot. all scans come up clean.Its got me buggered.

Is the noise the same rhythm as the engine revs and do you hear it when entering or exiting a driveway? Run a spanner over the bolts underneath, especially bash plates, check clearance of the exhaust, and maybe take a look at engine mounts while there.

Catalytic converters is another thing to check. Mine only rattled at a certain rev range.

Thanks guys, just took it to a mechanic and he thinks it is a injector seal. We are going to replace them and hope its fix.

there is no injector seal. there is an injector washer. which if you installed new injectors would have had a new washer on the end of it..

I would say who ever installed the injectors did not recut/reseat the new injectors
