A little bling

Removed the stock park brake & fitted a Leather one from a 2009/10 model

Now for a matching gear knob

It actualy busted the clips that hold the mudflap on, but also holds the bumper on properly. What does everyone mostly do there?
Are the clips re-usable/removable (couldn't figure out how to get the OK looking on off and back in the bumper)? can you get replacements from supercheap or something? do you need to get them from the dealer? or is it better to just get a short bolt and nut and wide flat washer in there?

I can't remember off the top of my head, but I guess you're talking about the rivet style clips like this?

That style aren't reusable.
But they're fairly cheap off ebay or similar.

You need a rivet gun for them too, like;
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...WL._SY300_.jpg
A normal rivet gun with a large enough bore might work, never tried.

Using hardware there is a bad idea, could do damage if it catches on something, and anything other than 316 stainless will rust real quick.

I've been using these short hollow wall anchors to hold the inner & outer guard together for 3 years now

Crimped them up without the mud flaps fitted them removed the screw, fitted a large washer to it & secured the mud flap with the screw.

I got them from Bunnings but if you are concerned about rust S/S ones are available from here

Partner to the best Jeep Gal Tammy!
Are you running the GDE Tune or do you need to swap the MAP to line up with that?
