According to the instructions included In the disc set I was given by the dealer it is over an hour just for the NAV update alone. Then the software update is extra 15minutes or so and must be done before the NAV update. Then it requires an activation key which is provided to the dealer by CJD and given to you if you are doing it yourself.
All of this info is from the instructions in the DVD update set the dealer gave to me after it was updated.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
David

Im confused , I work at a dealer and do these updates everyday for FREE some of you should have recieved a Nav Update card in the mail for REQ RHP & The newer 14 headunits this was origionally a free update to be done when you bought your car in for its next service it had an activation code on it the we use to activate the Nav Update , the time frame of this offer didnt suit a lot of customers as it was for a limited time , that has since been dropped and is open for free for any compatible Nav unit in any of the Jeep range , if you have the Nav Update card the Activation code is now null and void we have to obtain a new code but the updates should not cost you guys anything .
