Recall is for ignition barrel not the switch.

Ignitions all done pretty easy really untill the ball bearing flung out whilst i was trying to locate it so this didnt happen ha ha, but i did find it THANK YOU.
Cleaned the switch all up and looks to be pretty good still, re lubed and reinstalled and wam bam she starts first flick everytime now .


Really Stoked as it was worrying me that one day it wouldnt start,
Thanks to this Forum i was pointed to the problem and an idea on how to fix it. Cheers again guys

Hi All

Anyone had an issue with ETC? Mine started flashing last week and lose power.... got it scanned apparently it's inlet manifold that cover the extra valves? Apparently around 3k plus to fix? Is this right?

Note it's a 2006 crd wh

Swirl motor by the sounds of it. To be sure unplug it (swirl motor that is, located just in front of the turbo under the intake pipe) and fit a 4.7kΩ (2700 ohm) resistor across the 2 centre pins of the plug. This is known as the swirl bypass and it will run forever with this in place saving you $3k.
