Default Front Hubs

The time has come to replace the front hubs. The options so far:
Stealership - NZ$950 each
Local engineer - NZ$400 each for re-engineered with replacable bearings
Sydney company AU$360
From US - US$90 plus p+p (=lots)
Where do you all get yours from?
The re-engineered ones sound good as i spend a fair bit of time in water and mud.
Any Thoughts...TIA

Hi,

How about convert to warn freewheel hubs. Fairly expensive, I think similar to Jeep hub price, but you get full float front axle and fully serviceable bearing etc.

Haven't done it myself but I figure that is what I will do when mine wear out.

Suburban 4wd sell the kits and install too. Guess the install is no good for Kiwis.

Good luck.

dont bother with the warn kit as it widens your wheel track and if you disconnect your sway bar your tyre will rip your flare off unless you extend your front bump stop or lift up your jeep but its all lots of money Just Empty Every Pocket
