Exclamation hydraulic fan doesnt work

Hi guys now I had a problem with the Fan but with no OBD2 codes no check engine light the hydraulic fan doesn't rotate,I changed the power steering pump I thought it was the only one bad part.I make this test remove the ECT sensor the fan run very good like a jet,but when it connected with ECU the fan doesn't work in both cases hot and clod or on idle ,what to check their could it be a bad clogged hose or something blocked or a different rubber size hose because from two-week ago I repaired a leak on the return high pressure hose from fan to the steering box, the technician squeeze a new rubber part to this hose. thanks advance for any help advice

I'm not sure what the ECT sensor is you mention but if the fan runs fine without it I would expect there is nothing wrong with the hydraulics and hoses. Presumably the power steering is working fine. In which case I would be looking at the ECT sensor or whatever solinoid or relay switches the fan. I recall a thread on here about replacing a dead relay or switch with a ford part I think. Slightly different wiring but was made to work as it was far cheaper than the Jeep offering or Jeep only offer a full replacement.

If your fan is running when the solenoid is removed then as fester said your pump/hoses are okay. Try this link for help http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...d.php?t=117612
