Why not swap in something else, more simple, like a 231?

The thought has crossed my mind. I saw a 'how to' while I was doing a search but I don't have the space or the funds at the moment. We'll see how this goes first. Thanks.

What do you guys use ?
My mate at Supercheap said Jeep recommend Penrite ATF FS. $55 for 4 litres.

I have got Mobil 424 in 1 litre bottles from farm supply stores, in country Victoria. I dont think any other fluid except the mopar stuff is recommended.

I just rang my local farm supplies shop looking for the Mobil stuff and they have an equivalent stuff called Prolube AG TRANS TTF.
Might check it out. Thanks.

Before you do I think the ONLY fluid that can be used is mobil 424, the mopar stuff is really mobil 424 in a mopar bottle. Now having said that the fluid you mention might do and the transfer may not blow up right away, it might go for weeks or months but for all the grief others here and in the US have had with substitute fluids you have to ask is it worth the risk.
