Default vibration after fun weekend

Hey guys went out last weekend and had a hell of alot of fun in the mud and water at pickering brook, had water over bonnet at times but ever since had this shuddering vibration every time i drive. I checked the tyre pressures and there all fine, but get shuddering but the revs don't change so don't think it's motor or gearbox related.

Any ideas would be appreciated just haven't had time to take to stealership coz of work.

mud has dried inside your rims putting your wheels out of balance? this only does it at speed?

Yep sounds like mud packed into the inside of the rims.

Another thing to watch out for, is mud on ya fan. Tho dont think this is your problem.
There's actually two fans, one driven by the motor and an electric one close to the radiator, the electric one is nearly impossible to see and if mud sticks to it it makes a huge vibration when the electric fan kicks in. This vibration is revs dependent not speed dependent. I had this after a w/e at Loveday 4x4 Park and it feels real bad the whole car literally vibrates. All you need to do is hose off the fan, the hard part is the fan cowl is very deep and its bloody hard to get to.
Thinking bout making a hole/slot in the cowl so its easier to hose off, with a blanking plate so the air flow isnt disturbed.

I'm refering to the CRD Wranglers not quite sure of the petty set-up.
This is also relevant to Diesel Cherokees too, tho the fan is a lil easier to get at.

i reckon it might be your thermo fan. After much play in the mud the same thing happened to me. It will be out of balance, give it a good clean!!
The vehicle shudders everytime the fan fires up!!

Mud in the rims

Very common.

Hit them with the high pressure, make sure you get the insides as this is where it all sits!

Have you noticed it when you were stationary as well?

Angry

Hey guy gave the beast a clean on the weekend and done the rims as advised but didn't help still shuddering. AARGH. Don't know what it is, looks like money going to the stealership, The shuddering is only at speed, not all the time but every now and then it just vibrates then settles down if I accelerate.
