Default Weird stuttering/misfiring

Got a bit of a weird one for you guys.

Couple of weeks ago my 2007 3.8 Started to run rough and then threw an engine code and light for cylinder 3 misfire.

Changed the plugs and the leads and all was great.

Turned the car on the other day and it feels like one cylinder is late firing every now and then. Wiggled the leads and it ran better but its back.

Driving down the highway it's alright, but every now and then it's surging. Hasn't thrown a code but I'm sure it's not far off.

Do you think it's heat soak?

I tried reseating all the leads and plugs this morning but nothing has really changed.

Could it maybe be a dying ignition coil pack?

My '08 every so often feels like it is bogging down a bit. Then, all of a sudden, it picks up again. Not often, but I have noticed it.

I suspect an intermittent sensor issue, but until it becomes repeatable or constant, not much I can do to pin it down...

Is it always the same cylinder that is having the issue? Have you pulled the plug and had a look at the contact points?

I had a Landrover with a Holden 186 Red motor that developed a serious miss fire when it blew out most of the centre electrode.

Not saying this your issue, it was just something that I came across.

Pulled the plugs and the leads, nothing seems out of place or strange.

Car has started back firing, so it's getting worse. Not sure what to do next except take it somewhere.
