Default JK CRD Trans Help wanted

Hi everyone,My 07 jk crd auto 545rfe is giving me some grief, went for a highway run the other day and after 40k's of driving sitting on a 100kph whenever i went to coast i would get a strange whine from what seemed like the trans tunnel area?Trans gauge says 65c too 80c. serviced the front diff and trans and saw nothing wrong in there and went for another drive, all seemed fine until i hit the overdrive off button at 20kph and got whine noise and it started shaking the crap out of the steering? like death wobble.Anyone had this problem before,I'm thinking torque convertor? The shorty will not slip and changes up through the gears fine with zero noises at full or part throttle. Any ideas appreciated........Thanks in advance

Sounds almost the same as what happened to my WG V8 Grand Cherokee with the 545RFE trans in it.

As soon as you'd back off the accelerator the whine would start and it wasn't a nice noise.

Didn't happen under load, only when you'd back off the accelerator and were coasting.

Turned out the front CV in the front shaft was stuffed. As soon as I replaced the shaft the noise went never to return.

I know you said you had it replaced 6 months ago but it's exactly where I'd start looking.

Just remove the front shaft and go for a short drive, if it doesn't happen it's in either end of the shaft, probably the front end of it.

Obviously if it still happens it isn't either joint.
