More flex out of OME setup?

The only way to do it properly, if you want to gain as much flex (I'm talking down travel) is to:

Take the shocks out of your Jeep.
Disconect the front (because that's what you do offroad)
Jack up one wheel at a time (with personal safety first priority) and measure the distance between shock mounts (Top to bottom).
You ideally want an inch or two before the tyre rubs on the upper body work.
Then let the suspension (individual wheel) droop as far as possible (pay attention to brakelines, abs lines and esp on the JK).

Once you have the measurements, go shopping for shocks and bumpstops. (yes you DO have to extend bumpstops with any change in shock)

You want the bumpstop to - stop - the axle an inch or so before the shock is completely compressed. (the bumpstop will compress with the weight of the vehicle on the one stop)
And the shock should be an inch or so longer than full droop. (You are trying to not have the shock being fully compressed or extended, it will root the shock very quickly)

Extended brakelines/rear sway bar links/lowered rear trackbar mount/adjustable front trackbar will more than likely needed.

If you spend the time setting it up, your JK will flex it's arse off and you know that you can wheel it as hard as you like, because the tyres are not going to foul anything and your shocks are the correct length.

Sorry about the long reply, it's really simple to do but hard to explain....

p.s. buy the right shock based on correct measurements not price or what the most popular is.

This is probably the best advice you can get from anyone.
