What supercharger did you use Tyvokka? I'm looking at getting the full AirRam kit, including heads, I just haven't decided on a blower yet. This is going to be a long term project, no hurry.

It's just something I got the urge to do one day, probably after watching too many episodes of Street Outlaws lol.

I'm tempted to look at ProCharger, they had a kit for the 4.7 but no longer advertise it.

Doug.

Hey Douggy,

Itsa Paxton Novi 1000. Can get 2000 the bigger one, but twin screw M90/112s are also out there. The HO have been pushed up to 25pound boost but I'd advise against it unless one enjoys rebuilding engines.

Thanks mate, I can look them up and compare them to the others.

Lol, not at my expense I don't no. [emoji23]

I was thinking more in the range of 10-15 pounds of boost, that should keep things within the limits of the hardware.

I was interested in the fact that the adaptor plate fits any unit that will bolt onto the Ford V6 range of engines. Makes the range bigger.
I'm a little bit surprised how cheap you can get blowers for, they aren't a cheap proposition due to the need to build the engine to take the loads but it isn't as bad as it used to be in the late 70's and early 80's.
The twin screw units seem to be the best balance between size and efficiency to my understanding, is that right?
One of my work mates is keen on the idea and is looking for a good unit for me lol. I'm nothing remotely resembling ready for it yet but he's keen. [emoji23][emoji23]

There are various discussions re: Twin Screw Vs Centrifugal Superchargers.

The best one I reckon is one you can afford and make it work.

Then there's beefing up the internals, cooling, brakes, fuel and injection system, headers, exhaust....etc. Goes on and on.....JEEP!
