Default Swap a CJ8 Overlander for J10
Hi all, just picked up my 84 Overlander CJ8, Silver with Red Garnet interior.
Originally from Qld, I got it from Vic where it has been stored for two years.
I bought it sight unseen apart from general photos around the car.
Knowing that it had rust in usual areas and coming from a salty home it showed.
Upon delivery it was clear it was goingis to be a Big Project, one I don't see myself starting for some years. I have just moved to a small farm and need to start an extension and big shed, before playing with Jeeps, thus I would be happy to swap for something I could use straight away on the farm(J10)
The deal is 1 complete rusty CJ8 and chassis, also a replacement chassis, replacement body, replacement bonnet and guards. The Jeep is in all original condition inside including AC, auto etc.
The only good panels are the hard top, doors, rear door.
I will get some photos put up this weekend so you can see for yourself.
They are very hard to find as we all know and with some work you could have an Aussie Legend!!
I am after a Rust Free J10 that runs smooth. Rego or not....

Hi, yes it was.
The guy who owned it met me half way for the exchange.
If anyone can help me out in loading some photos up on the site that would be good??
I can text photos to you and then they could load them up on this thread!!
No land line/ internet at home, and I have tried using phone with no luck...
There must be plenty J10 guys wanting to trade out there or just make an offer!!
I don't want to part it out to the Yanks!! It is to good and everything there but a windscreen to complete it.
Hope someone can help???
