pinion angles in relation to shaft angles? Adjustable control arms
When using adjustable control arms may someone please clarify for me the safe variance in degrees between the front pinion angle and front drive shaft angle, and also the rear pinion angle and rear drive shaft angle. I know you're trying to get them as close as possible to each other but I understand that there is also a considered permissible variance of about 2 degrees on each - if there is a variance is it better to have a higher pinion angle or a higher shaft angle? Is it the same rule of thumb for both the front and rear or are the rules reversed?
