I'd be putting another arm in if you have one. That one is rooted.

So it's worn a groove on the body mount?. That can be touch welded, then get a 9" grinder on it to smooth it back so the arm won't rub on any rough spots.

If the groove is really bad you can get 1/16th steel plate and weld that onto the mount. Drill a hole for the bolt and spread the mount a little bit then refit the arm. The plate will act as a gusset and also a smooth surface for the arm to pivot on.

That's the plan. But am looking at better replacement arms. Only thing is I don't want this to happen again so need to work out the cause.

Loose bolts or perished/damaged bushes. They are the only two factors to cause it. It's been flogging around so long it has caused that damage. How are all the other bushes looking?. I'd suspect by that one that maybe the others won't be too far behind it. Get a long flat screwy up in each mount and start levering and see if anymore need doing.

Well its not monday yet so am i allowed to post this??

********ING WOT issue has turned nasty
Went for a wheel
All good
Started running a bit crap and could smell fuel at idle
Drives fine
Unless you mash the throttle
At wot while driving it backfires and wont move
In the driveway and mash throttle? It stalls or runs on 1 cylinder



no codes
And all seems to be fine via scan tool data

I hate you.
