Default Jeep Rock rails...

Chris,
These are the new rock rails I was talking about last night. Near as I can see they are about $250.00 US for a set,but I'll have to get my folks to check that price. BTW...this is the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee "Liberty" Edition.

Very nice indded Chris!!

Pls let me know how you go when you have them checked out. We may be able to do a bulk-ish shipment!!!

I'd particularly like to find out how and where they attach... which will determine how strong they're likely to be, and whether they hang so low as to impede progress over rocks and whatnot.

Cheers

Chris

PS - It was great meeting you both last night. We'll have to meet up again soon

if they are anything like the "A" nudge bars.. i think they might be a bit soft...
they defenitly sticks out to the side more than some,

Looks flash ok. Personally they would appear to be too close to the body work so that they could be banged up into the body work.
I also prefer the steps as they stop a lot more gravel spray and protect the doors from chipping.
Both vehicles above are missing mud flaps so chipped paintwork is not a priority in those promo pics.
bling bling effect - 10 out of 10
practicallity-- hmmm 5 out of 10....each to his own i suppose

Chris

The top shot (red one) looks as though the rails do indeed come up the side a fair way... leaving the underside of the sill exposed. I tend to come down vertically on rocks as I go down steps, so I need under protection as well as side.

Interested to find out more though!!!

Cheers
Chris
