Default Lower front guard install question

I'm installing the chief lower front guard
Does this foam piece come off?
What if i decide not to reinstall the lower front fascia? Does it come off then?

No foam stays on. The tab on the cheif plate slides in behind it.
I covered my foam with some clear wrap to help protect it.

Cheers thanks for that. I wasn't sure since the instructions and photos cover a lot of models ... and some photos show the foam as not there. Install was pretty easy... a bit fiddly working around the sump plate at times.

The only thing I don't like is the appearance of the foam.... I'll probably leave it for a while and see... then possibly try Plastidipping it? Or ... maybe trim it so that it still supports the upper bumper but you can't see it with the fascia removed.

I had the same issue, in the end I rang Cheif to find out.
The photos with no foam would be US models.
looks good
