Yeah if its a definite no for the 3.0L id pass. I'd look at a 6.4HEMI option or 3.0L V6 TD only....

I have a 2016 JKU with the works, and a one owner 23 yo XJ Chekka.
The JL would have been a good compromise between the two cars.
So as a result, I am keeping both cars... 2019 would have been too long to wait, and at the time I got my jku, details on jl were sketchy.

Deliberated over Wrangler or GV, and decided I like rock hopping and minimal overhangs, so JL Rubicon it is.
Only decision is colour; green, punk or silver me thinks.
Is it at the dealerships in January or March...no one, including Jeep Aus can say.

I have had one ordered through my dealer since April and was rang by them three days ago and informed that FCA will be releasing their export vehicle variants mid to late November. Once that happens I can confirm the vehicle I want and the order will be progressed. Getting there - eventually.

I currently have a 2011 Wrangler Unlimited Sport, and am hoping to convince the wife to allow me to buy a new car (never owned a new car!), so was hoping to look into a JL Rubicon Unlimited, preferably Diesel.
But not too sure about if the ones coming here will be worth getting

I have seen the specs for 3 European countries. They seem to be the same as each other. If Australia gets the same specs I'll be getting a Sport.
I have also seen the specs for Jeep UK. If Australia gets the same specs then I am not interested.
And we have no idea about the pricing.

Hey guys,
I put a deposit down on a firecracker red JL Rubicon Unlimited in April this year.
First time Jeeper after 2 Toyota’s and 6 Patrols many years later. Extremely disappointed we are not getting the US spec versions. Now waiting to test drive one in November and decide whether to continue with it or drop back and try to get a JKU instead and modify the hell out of it...time will tell...
Cheers Keith...
