Try Duck creek road up to oreilly's

nice picnic spots on the way up and the cafe at the top of the mountain

there is also the tree top walk when you get to the top

you also have the option of going down on the main bitumen road, it's a nice half day drive

Default Places to go

IF you want to make a weekend of it take a drive upto the sunshine coast on the friday night. Get up on the Sat and head for Double Island Point.

There lots to see and do on the way. Just remember tyres to 20psi in the sand Low range to get across to soft and 2WD is good on the hard/wet sand. If you get the tide right you can go to rainbow and back to the beach via Frashwater (Down hill that way) $5.00 each way over the noosa river.

you can then use sunday to wash the sand out.

Good luck

If it be just a day out with water, mud and some rocks, the creek track at Jimna would be a nice day out for all, kids incuded.

Fouros
From Beaudesert follow Mt Lindsey Highway a few k's towards Rathdowney ie SthWest, then take the Kerry turn-off on your left (due South). Duck Creek is a few k's south past Kerry.

Prinney - is there a track up there now? - have only hiked it, indian file along some of those ridgebacks, about 600mm wide.
