Default 230 Tornado engine parts?

Out of a Mid 60's Jtruck.
Anyone know who might carry parts for these motors?
I think its an OHC.

Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers

Depending on what you need, there are quite a few parts on Fleabay - albeit they are all overseas. But gaskets, pistons, rod bearing, rebuild kits; they're all there. Failing that, you'd probably need a specialist who deals in Jeep pickups or the Kaiser military ones, like the M715.

I'm not 100% sure about the details, but Industrias Kaiser Argentina, who licensed the engine, was bought out by Renault, who continued to use the engine in their Torino 'til 1982. Their parts may (or may not) fit yours, which could expand your parts-base.

Hope that helps a little bit... I'm impressed that you found one! I tried and failed, since they're fairly scarce here. How does it drive?

It rolls pretty well. I have looked for one for a few years. Pretty hard to find so I'm pleased. Havent had it under its own power yet. Thanks for the info. Will investigate.

No worries! The rebuild kits I saw are actually for another engine, but everything else is there for sale.

If you talk to Marathons in tamworth, Iam sure I saw a story in Jeep Action about a resto on a wagonner with same motor. I think late fifty,s jeep trucks also used the Tornado .

Thanks Bob. I have a Willys with a Hurricane and a Jtruck with a tornado. Anyone need some rain.
Cheers. Will buzz them once I have established what I might need.
Motor has sat idle for 5 years but was rebuilt not long before that.

Hello I'm from Argentina, here this engine was equiped the Rambler and Torino, earlier the engine Tornado Jeep here was Tornado simply.
What you need for this engine, here the engine was equiped the rambler, gladiator, when ika build the Torino car, modified from a six inlet admision, and in the second modify ( near 1973 ) the cramshat was 7 seat.
This motor of the last modification was named TORINO, and build to 1982.
