Default Thoughts on this Wrangler

Hi all,
Very new to the world of Jeeps.
In a position where someone has offered me a trade for one of my cars for this Jeep.

I thought who better to go to than y'all

Thoughts on price?
Thoughts on car (from what you can see)?
What should I look out for on inspection?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Seems very pricey to me for a stocker.

The TJ is an awesome truck. 2006 is pretty much the last model before the JK came out, so this is the most recent TJ available. Pics look tidy but you'd need to have it checked, by someone who knows TJs.

I think the price is fine, but I'm talking from what I think of the value of the TJ. But the market suggests pushing it closer to $10k.

Hard to go wrong with a clean TJ.

I live in the area this jeep hails from have'nt seen it on the road, anyhows I got my insurance renewal in the other day for my 65th ann jeep wrangler hardtop 52000kms a few minor mods & accessories & its gone skyhigh. So i started shopping about ended up with the RAA (hum) so we are going thru the details etc etc get to the valuation.
The best valuation they would come up with was $11,500 I told them not good enough so kept the negotiation up & finally got a figure of $13,000 still not enough in my books but was the highest i could get with lowest insurance fee out of a dozen insurance quotes.
I dont if this helps but you can only ask if hes prepared to drop the price some what.

if that's the $$$ your looking at, I just traded a jeep that I had just finished the build on over 4 years for my son as his first car. But the car did nit suit the line of work he was going into.. basically I built the most awesome TJ with whe works but he needed a ute. Its at wholesale House beaudesert rd Brisbane.
they payed $10k for it & its advertised for $15,499, so you would probably get it for $11k.
# 2002 TJ.
# 151,000.
# new air cond.
# new radiator.
# new stereo, speakers & in dash tweeters.
# new GME UHF broom stick areal colour code painted to match car + UHF.
# new soft top with tinted windows (car windows also same black tint).
# new paint (holden silver nitrate).
# new mags, custom powder coated & painted. (mickey thompsan classic lock).
# new 33" mud terains.

# front seats out of 2006 modle.
# black smitty built army netting & cargo/recovery bags mounted on inside of rear door.
# I still have the hard top sitting at home that I'm going to sell for $700 ish
probably lots more that I'm trying to forget because I really didn't want to sell this car. It had only done 3000klm since rebuild & drove like a dream & cruised all day on 110klm with the air cond blasting with no dramas (took it on 3 runs to Choffs harbour & back as a test). she was thirsty at 110 but you got nearly 500klm if you sat on 95klm
