My camper trailor has a custom tarp with zips and velcro so it fully seals up like the inside of a tent. You can just use a broom to sweep it up.

Flotex or Walkertex is a stain-proof & waterproof carpet that can be found at the larger carpet shops. I think that it's sold by the metre, and the width is 2 metres. Supposedly, very good.

I just use shade cloth and reacon its perfect, especially in the sand.

Yeap, another vote for shade cloth, I have a ginormious sheet of black screen, I double or even triple it over on softer stuff, or just lay it all the way out on normal ground.. Best bang for buck, when it comes to something you walk on ..
