Nah, didn't bother to try. I still have the standard spare for every day and throw the full size spare on the roof for camping trips.

I would like any updated feed back on the Falken Wildpeak AT3’s.
My stock tyres have worn out on the front due to the wheel alignment being out but I’ve done 35000kms so was thinking of changing them soon.
From what I’ve heard on this forum they seem quite good but I would like to upsize to 275’s if there are no rubbing issues. Anyone have any suggestions for sizes with this brand?
MY17 GC Trailhawk with air suspension. And yes, I do use the park mode setting.

Will be towing 2.8T next year and the vehicle is mainly a tourer, so hardly any city driving.

Thanks in advance.

The Falken AT3's as an LT tyre in 275 65 18 would be the ones to go for, especially if towing, you won't be running at near max pressure as in P rate tyres which the 265 65 18 is and the LR on the 275 is a healthy 123....

If you grab a tape measure and tap in the data to this calculator you will have correct answers before you shell out big $$$$$ ..... https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...cl=50mm&sr=0mm

When I fed in some details looked good as the tyre will only be 5 mm wider than the 265's and will move 7mm further into the wheel well, sounds good.. I would measure your uppy downie suspension at different settings to see..

I drag a similar weight around about 15K a year or so and certainly find the LT tyre way better than a P rate, not running near max psi and they last better...

I like the specs and the tread and if the price is right when these Yokies are finished they will be a contender for sure......

Awesome feedback, thanks Drover.
I am keen for the LT’s but they are sure hard to find at the moment, hopefully a new shipment will make landfall soon!

I've got the Falkens AT3 on mine, 285/50/20, was looking for some 18's but ended up with a ripper deal on some SRT rims. The grip compared to my last tyres is very noticeable.
Haven't put too many clicks on them yet, but they are good in wet, dry, dirt, rocks and mud

I usually search for about 3 mths for rubber, waiting for the right special to come along and trying to narrow down the field, as I tow a lot its LTs all the way, made the mistake of putting P tyres on as I couldn't get them in LT once and 45K kms later they needed replacing, I knew I shouldn't have but still went ahead, at least the LTs will give me about 60K km with regular rotation............ Over time I have narrowed down my tyre mob selection since I travel a lot to Bob Jane or Tyrepower, good specials and I can wander into any shop if things aren't right plus use their free puncture repair coupons anywhere....... I like the Pay for 3 get 4 deals....

So a LT with close to 14mm of tread, don't want really chunky stuff, noisy when a worn and often not what you want towing in the wet.......

I was going to go into the early adopter and get the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T's coming out in March 22 on info from the rep and do the 5 tyres on my 18 set. Just the long wait and will certainly yell out if they are too noisy!
