Wow so that's 200kg out of your max payload of 600kg or so. Doesn't leave too much room for luggage after passenders & fuel!

Nope but almost everything is in / on camper. I looked at other campers with low towball weights and their actual weight wasn't too much better. It's a massive juggling game and one I wish I had a better solution for but manufacturer don't help when they don't have the real figures for you.

200kgs is pretty good for that model, measured a friends one at 320kg packed.

The Jeep now sits slightly higher after a 2" lift and 265/65/18 tyres.

That was an option but I'm thinking I will move a Jerry can (water) and gas bottle to where one of the spare wheels are on the camper.
We normally set up for several nights and do 4WD day trips out and back from base camp. Easier to have the tire on the roof.

If you put smaller tyres on the camper (lower it) you may have problems with the walls on the awning being too long/tall.
