GREAT CLIP!!! Keep them coming if you have more. I know there's a few threads on here by newbies asking how Grands go in the sand. Now we know where to direct them.

So I'm getting distracted doing my promised video editing, here is a teaser. This is the hill that I bent my axle on (not on this hill run though), note the drop off at the top.

It's yet another reason why I just can't bear to part with the v8 yet;

Joe - your V8 WJ is the best sounding one I've ever heard!!

If those custom headers weren't so expensive and such a pain in the arse to fit I would get some in a flash.... Maybe I'll just get an Overland for my next Jeep instead?

It absolutely powers up the sand dunes - have you changed gear ratios to suit the 33's by any chance?

Thanks mate

Yep, had ratios changed late last year to suit the 33's, didn't notice much of a change in economy, but it certainly puts the power down harder.

Headers are tricky to install, but I've become a little adept at it these days. Easiest way to fit them is to install them from underneath the car, jack up under the sump a little to give a tiny bit more room if your engine mounts are shot. You also need new bolts when installing them, and some of those we shortened to make them fit. You'll also need a ratchet ring spanner, a lot of patience, and be prepared to loose some skin haha.
Throw in a few beers and a mate to help you out and it's not impossible

V8_jofes, I looked at your videos on your channel, the one where you're recovering the Bravo, you could post it here: http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...d.php?t=102685

It would be nice .
