Yeah, I've been around but spend the last month at the Cape and the couple of months before that under the rig getting it ready. Still looks a bit dull compared to yours but it's a tourer not a Tonka.

Cool. Our Cape trip will be in a couple of years by the looks of things.
The Tonka is still quite capable with 120L rear and future 67L side aux tanks, plus a few jerries in the trailer and a couple on the roof. Burn rate is high as you could imagine..

I wouldn't leave it much longer than that, the bitumen is getting worse and worse. Bitumen all the way to Loins Den Hotel now. More like a Sunday drive than an epic journey. The Hotel is still cool but almost a bit of an anti climax. Friends on the trip remarked how they couldn't believe how much more bitumen than when they did it 6 years ago. It'll be Corolla city soon.
The old Patrol sucked about 15l/100 fully loaded with a roof top tent as well.

A few pics from the Romanian Jeep Club trip this weekend:
WJ's were seriously outnumbered, we had a stock KJ in the group, another stock WJ CRD and a 4.7 WJ with a bit of lift and 31's I believe.
Offroading with the read Addco sway bar was ok on the first day (with tons of clunking from the right sway bar link) and on the second day it decided to disconnect itself (bottom bolt of the link broke) , so I drove the most difficult section without a sway bar and it did not catch on anything.
Time to build a set of strong rear quick disconnect links.
Flex after the self-disconnect, it probably had a bit more droop left.
